“Quand Tout Prend Forme”, is a living collage project that sources images from a past project, “The Art Lies in the Ritual”, 2016. “The Art Lies in the Ritual” series manifested as a result of meditative practices in self awareness, aligning the self with spirit and embracing liberation in skin, identity and sexuality. Bypassing conscious thought, these images were created using photographic automatism. Here, the images are placed at sites of memory and heavy contemplation. At once offering and ode to my past selves, these cutouts are immersed in environments that mirror the persistence of feminine spirit and captivating life.
