My first camouflage project was a stucco garage I painted 30 years ago. I covered it from top to bottom with a jungly green disguise, to the delight of my neighbors.

Since then, camouflage has been a theme that appears and disappears in my work, as I explore notions of concealment, terrain, war and mystery.
