My artist books are often concerned with creation of an interesting structure, but they must always support my exploration of a larger idea. These one-of-a-kind books are part of a large series of works on the subject of home that includes paintings, prints, books and writing. The series, “Homework: Meditations on the Meaning of Home,” was created between 2001 and 2005. The development of the series was influenced by changes in my living situation and the impact of 9/11/01.
