As an artist, I draw from a cosmology influenced by my Second Sight, post industrial decay, and Kandinski’s later abstract work. The genres of found metal sculpture and traditional “woman’s work” are eclectically mixed to create abstract forms that articulate the invisible.

Through a process of repetitive, rhythmic stitching, I practice a modern art meditation. These mixed media sculptures capture the belief in humanity’s capacity to transform.

Women turn their own blood into milk. I want that significant and powerful act recognized, while also commenting on the complexity of mama-ville, devotion and notions of a woman’s body and function.
