Anita L. Bowden is a health-conscious, beauty-loving, world-traveled baby-boomer with a background in drawing & painting, interior & fashion design, and beauty & image.

The artist was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised there by her maternal grandmother and two uncles—who had been partially raised by Catholic nuns and priests in Alabama. Religious art and the people, places and things she saw here and abroad influenced her.

People from the global community, clowns, floral, fruit and other subject matter drawn or painted in charcoal, pastel, acrylic or oil make up the artist’s present collection.

Good quality reproductions and hand-made greeting cards, which contain photographs of her art, are also available.
