Alice Lister describes her work, with some humor, as “Metaphysical Surrealism”. In a world mapped out by polarity she explores the grey zone in between, searching for “the turning point” and questioning the status quo. She says “we encounter paradox and absurdity on a daily basis and accept it with enthusiasm. I think it is important to question and discuss these things with rationality and a liberal dose of humor.”
