Believing is seeing. The vision is one of peacocks, camels, messengers, arising in a mirage of heat waves from the vast distance and woven in a glass tapestry of light and color.

I weave in glass for its clarity, brilliance and fluidity. I wish for more clarity and brilliance. So I try to do what I can. I look and try to see. I weave.

This series of glass weavings is called “Magic Carpets”. It takes an inordinate amount of time to make one weaving – 200 to 300 hour of meditation quality concentration. I use loom-weaving technique, just like women of the Middle East did for centuries to weave carpets.
