ARTIST STATEMENT
I shred the ephemera from our capitalistic society and repurpose consumer driven images into mirrors, whether concave, convex, or fun house distortions, all serve to reflect back filtered realities. These reflections question legitimacy and validity of facts and events. Each scraps of ephemera used in new contexts still retain its trace DNA of the images it came from before re-contextualization, complicating and overlapping meanings and blurring the boundaries of what came before and what will come after.
