A group show by 35 female artists using digital technology as a major creative component in the production of the work.
Juror: Dorothy Simpson Krause is Professor Emeritus at Massachusetts College of Art where she founded the Computer Arts Center, and a member of Unique Editions® and Digital Atelier®, digital artists collaboratives, with Bonny Lhotka and Karin Schminke.
Juror’s Statement
The work submitted was broad in concept and execution. It was impressive not only in it’s diversity but also in the clarity and nuance of the work presented.
The artists chosen have used digital technology to produce art that clearly transcends the media and gives evidence of the time and place in which it was conceived and executed. The technology is now mature and the art reflects that maturity and strength.
