The foundation is basically structured on two layers of museum board backed with linen. The idea of carving out shapes and then resetting them on to the main structure gave me the flexibility to introduce a variety of complex elements into my work. This method suggests a sculptural feeling and at the same time covers the aesthetic qualities I aimed for.
