Woman Made Gallery is pleased to announce the “Exquisite Uterus,” a collaborative art project curated by Alison Gates and Helen Klebesadel, featuring works by over 150 artists.
The “Exquisite Uterus Project” was initiated in the spring of 2012 in reaction to what is being called the most current ‘War on Women.’ Fiber artists and educators, Alison Gates and Helen Klebesadel decided to offer feminists of all genders the opportunity to participate in this collaborative art project to channel some of the rage we were experiencing at the attacks on women’s reproductive health in this political environment.
