ARTIST STATEMENT
Art for Art’s Sake. This is closer to the sublime. Agnes Martin described art as a high house. Milton Resnick stated the only direction in art that matters is that of ascendancy. All art that moves us, regardless of era or subject, becomes inspired moments experienced concurrently in the present through our own private past to be carried into our own future. I follow the vibrations set forth from the paint and materials themselves and find myself conversing in a silent language with a clear tongue, almost fluently.
