A spectator commented, “…your work is like a blade of grass swaying silently…”
My story is about a Spiritual Art, as a Muslim woman and an architect struggling to be in balance with nature and society. My Spiritual Art is the inner action to balance the heart, to resonate a sustainable outer world. Through the science of knowing the heart, called “Tasawwuf”, using the act of “Dhiker” (remembrance), the sound, meaning and motion of a Word rooted in me, with nature, emerges. My Spiritual Art and Architecture are complements of each other, which celebrate the stitching of a Sustainable Human.
