ARTIST STATEMENT
My practice is very eclectic. I focus on capturing whatever interests me in the current moment. Endangered animals and the environment are longstanding interests, and this is how Callippe Silverspot fits in. Family dynamics, family photographs, and the universality of those also interest me, and that is how the very charged Becoming My Mother 2 fits in. Finally, I collected dolls when I was a child, and now I think dolls are creepy, so I decided to do a series of creepy dolls as well.
