Suzanne Scott Constantine

Suzanne Scott Constantine is an interdisciplinary artist working in visual art, writing and performance. Her art explores the transgressions of contemporary society, proposes radical compassion, and offers the hope for transformation. Her work focuses on the racial, sexual, and class inequities and challenges the viewer to confront injustices, celebrate the power of women, and to consider the prospect of radical resistance. She works in a variety of media and styles. The three pieces submitted here, in watercolor and ink, began as ideas in her sketchbooks.
