Sharon Draghi is a graduate of the International Center of Photography’s General Studies Program. Her work explores intimacy and the solitariness of one’s inner world. By mixing candid and staged imagery, she creates open-ended narratives taken specifically from a woman’s point of view. She is also interested in examining how environment contextualizes and illuminates our daily lives.

See Me is a series of photographs made in response to the objectification and marginalization of women that is so prevalent in our culture. By creating thoughtful and intimate portraits, the viewer is asked to look at and consider these women as individuals, each with their own lives and intricate histories.
