Over the past six months I have become immersed in solarplate printmaking, a relatively new, less toxic method of etching. One can achieve a great deal of subtlety of texture using this technique, and the resulting prints can look like lithographs, etching or photogravure. This work is from my current series of solarplate prints of plastic babies on adventures.
