Sam Bean is a visual artist, writer and musician.

Originally from the East Coast, Bean attended a magnet arts high school before crossing the country to expand her studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara. After working in social justice writing, an opportunity to help open an art gallery brought her to Chicago, where she currently resides.
