‘Fountain of Youth’ is a tongue-in-cheek comment on our society’s obsession with youth. We are bombarded by the media with all sorths of products and procedures to reverse the aging process, from television programs that tout body makeovers to pop-up ads on our computer screens.

Here a woman confronts her aging face in the mirror while the plastic surgeon readies his scalpel, and another doctor is poised to deliver a Botox injection. Can she resist the pressures of society or will she conform.</p><p>My work seeks to raise awareness to the absurdity of this situation and to question the motives to follow the herd. – Age: 68
