The three relief wall pieces of Soul Series show partially obscured faces of children restrained in different containers. The first, Soul Repository depicts the children securely tied into their bronze womb, but the second vessel, Soul Escaped has been unzipped on the top and a soul has been spirited away. The patina and the finish of the bronze becomes progressively darker, more refined and more constraining with each piece. Souls Reclaimed, slickly polished with a deep cordovan patina, embraces the returned soul and buckles all three securely into their repository. The piece comments on children, religion, and guilt.
