Society’s need to label and generalize the human condition is evident at even an early age.  Children today are stripped of their own individuality and uniqueness with labels such as ADHD, severely emotionally disturbed, lazy, gifted etc.  With so many “stigmas” placed upon children at such a young age, their ability to grow beyond these labels is stifled by society’s need to understand general behavior; whether it is considered normal or abnormal is based upon the opinion of other human beings who are also susceptible of being guilty of wearing the same label.
