Ruby May is an experimental video, which portrays the relationship between a mother and daughter. The sound created for this piece is several layers of authentic sound (digitally manipulated) which give the piece the feeling of a womb to the audience. The black and white Super 8 film image of the pregnant belly embodies the birth of the daughter and when projected suggests the cyclical nature of life.
