Woman Made Gallery (WMG) is proud to present “The Photographic Self,” a group exhibition with works by 39 artists, juried by Carla Williams. The exhibition is on display from September 6 to October 24, 2013.

The reception for “The Photographic Self” along with concurrent invitational exhibition “Michele Fitzsimmons at the Art Institute with Photography by Diane J. Schmidt” is on Friday, September 6, 2013 from 6 to 9 p.m.
About the Juror: Carla Williams
Carla Williams is a writer, editor, and photographer. She is author of numerous essays and articles about photography and is co-author of two histories of photography, including “The Black Female Body: A Photographic History” with Deborah Willis. Williams is Assistant Professor at Rochester Institute of Technology and is editor of the Chroma book series for the California Institute of Integral Studies.
