My subject matter is natural phenomena like clouds in the sky, fire, earth and water. The rings of a tree, crystals, cells in plants, even a mountain is a triangle.

My paintings are about balance and maintaining equilibrium where the circle, square and triangle are the most basic building blocks. Each shift in color, pattern, temperature and shape effects the dialogue and challenges the balance.
