To explore and discover is my passion. What some overlook or disregard, I regard as potential art material. By looking closely, I discover unexpected beauty and complexity.

From the simple act of digging in my yard and looking closely at each root, I discover both the complex diversity of plant families and each root’s individuality. Yet all roots share the common purpose of structure, stability, and sustenance and as well as a communal environment.

From this experience, I reflect on us humans with our diversity and individuality, as well as our commonality. As we share living on our Earth, we can provide stronger structure, stability, and sustenance by working together and respecting one another. http://www.patsyrdavis.com/
