Niki Nolin is a Chicago media artist digitally compositing image, motion and poetry creating work that consider women, (aging, traditional societal roles, strengths, expectations and biases), the comparisons woman make, the communities woman form. Her focus is to arouse in the viewer the conviction of a reality which exists in the spaces between words and images; intuitive gaps and leaps of faith, and the disassociations and non-linearities of thought-play and choice – a digital rendering of mind and universe.
Exhibitions include work for Woman Made Gallery, Art Chicago, MCA Chicago, UCLA, Chicago Cultural Center, iDMAa, and CAA.
