My work is a love-letter to Black women celebrating their strength and resilience.
An angry mother’s protests and demands go unheard and unmet. She wears a hoodie much like that of Trayvon Martin, and screams from behind a tribal mask bearing names of unarmed Black sons killed by police, hoping to keep their spirits alive and others like them safe.
