While I was growing up we took many trips to Mexico and parts of Spain, to better acquaint ourselves with our heritage. During these years I became exposed to people of severe poverty, homelessness, and those who were practically helpless. I became more inquisitive with the darker side to life, making it my goal to understand how people survive in conditions I cannot relate to.

Each photo I have submitted is part of a series of images but best describes the story.
