I am a non-objective person who works primarily with encaustic. This medium yields a range of textures: the duality of hard-soft, rough-smooth, translucence and opacity, addition and subtraction, mystery and poeticism. These aspects, along with choices of color and composition, provide me with enormous possibilities as a painter.
