The variation of the quality of life for children is obscene. Appalling numbers of pre-pubescent girls are sold into prostitution and slavery. In so-called Third World countries boys as young as seven or eight are trained as killing machines. Childhood angst and mental and personality disorders are rampant. Can an innocent, sensitive child fit into our warrior world, macho of violent video games, steroid superheros and promiscuous sex idols?
