Recently I have begun to work with photo-encaustic as a means of self-expression. It is a process of using photography and encaustic materials: beeswax, damar resin, pigments and other mixed media.
In my photography I’m inspired by the ordinary yet beautiful moments that we often fail to see or lose to memory. This collection of work comes from my desire to preserve those moments. The layers of beeswax give my pieces dreamlike feeling of being frozen.

My goal is to inspire those who see my work to look more carefully at the world around them and to discover beauty in ordinary places.

My images evoke the passage of time.
