The series ‘Lupine’ focuses on perennial wildflowers and human figures in a light, interwoven environment. The watercolor figures overlap and blend in with the flowers as a way of examining shared vulnerability and growth. Touch is a central theme in ‘Lupine’ as the imagery was inspired by the sensory joys of summer in the Northeast United States.
