The Pop Art style reflects mass culture and commercialization of a society. Nothing illustrates today’s cultural influences more than the cellular phone. If one of the fathers of Pop Art were alive today, he most likely would replace the soup can with the cell phone. In homage to Warhol, my piece “Warhol’s Call”, honors his approach using the commercial symbols of our time.
