Lynn Tsan is a Chicago-based artist who creates complex, multifaceted work composed of multiple small square drawings. Tsan spent two years at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, graduated from California State University Dominguez Hills with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies and holds a MA in journalism from the University of Southern California. Tsan returned to creating art 12 years ago. Her most recent work, the Square Series has shown in several Twin City and Chicago galleries and is held in private and corporate collections.

In 2011 Lynn moved to Chicago to focus on her art at a time when commercial fabricating tools became available to anyone with a library card. The drawings were just the beginning. Flat prints become multilayered relief works. Designing for any flat surface became possible. Elements from this graphical collage series influence her new work; architectural art; large glass, aluminum, tile, wood, walls, windows, floors and surfaces.
