For much of my life I have been interested in the varied ways humans interact with the natural world, and I continue the journey to find my role within it. I am a grower of plants and animals, living in a rural area where daily dramas of destruction and creation populate life. Nature manifests as diminutive seedlings and miniscule butterfly eggs. But just as certainly, as wickedly unforgiving storms and claws tearing in the dark.

There are no picturesque mountain vistas, no rocky ocean shore, and only rarely a hill here or there. Disguised as unpretentious landscape, intricate workings beyond my knowing cycle through seasons.

I know it to be a place of wonder. I hope to spend the rest of my life reading skies.
