interLAND I is part of a series that reflect upon my childhood memories. It mirrors the inner voices in my mind throughout my past experiences into the present where I am searching my own identity, where I strive to understand these feelings of nostalgia and displacement.

The photographic layers lights up my own awareness of these feelings of nostalgia longing from a past that was hidden inside my consciousness. Works from the interLAND series initiated a new investigation back to these memories from my past into my homeland, Mozambique.
