Linda Williams
Linda Williams is inspired by nature and exposes the detailed qualities of her subjects, shown in her close-up images of flowers. Her vision shows the viewer that which is often overlooked. Linda’s large-scale, colorful, bold compositions are influenced by her extensive graphic design and photography background.
She loves the joy of discovery, manipulating photos taken from her journeys until she has the right combination of design elements. She then paints them in pastels or oils working wet-on-wet, or alla prima. She has been influenced by the work of Georgia O’Keefe and shares a similar love of organic and rhythmic shapes.
