The root of the word mnemonic comes from the Greek word mnēmōn (“mindful”) meaning “to remember.” It is defined as a tool or device to help one recall memories.
In this time of distance, we recall the last times we could touch our loved ones. The lingering feeling we hold onto is like a string tied around our fingers, a reminder. We remain connected in our memories anticipating when time allows us to be near again.
