Sisters in Wonderland

Being an identical twin has shaped my life, not only in the way I think, but also in my artwork. I’m continually working to explore my twinship and our shared experiences through images—part remembered dreams and part theater. In a family of four sisters, the early years were filled with games, both real and imaginary. My art reflects this early influence of children’s games, as well as a love of puppetry and plays we performed in a little theater in our basement.
