In my work, the personality of inanimate objects is revealed. Each fruit represents a person and their situation or struggle. As they strive to move within their environment, they encounter obstacles as well as opportunities. The imagery and objects in each environment symbolizes the details of one’s life and the direction in which they hope to travel. Each work recalls the idea that although the fruit is part of a ‘still life’ arrangement, it is always a source of energy and nourishment.
