The series ‘Domestic Disturbances’ takes inspiration from Russian Revolutionary propaganda textiles and colonial American patterns such as toile, which traditionally featured pastoral scenes of leisure and political events of the day. These objects speak in the vernacular of Southern American decorative design while whispering sublime statements of subterfuge.
