My paintings are my story. I am reacting and interacting with my surroundings and relationships with my world. The colors I choose evoke the feelings and reactions to that subject at the moment I paint. I am spontaneous when I paint in order to make the most truthful statement about my subject at that time. The dance of life and death is a theme close to my heart, losing and giving birth to loved ones, in this tumultuous time of war and uncertainty.
