ARTIST STATEMENT
The bronze leg piece Dada Revisited is patinated in a unique way and true to the way I contrast femininity with durable materials has little tiny lace pieces at the core where the legs attached I burned out in bronze. The cabinet is a surreal interpretation of a auto dealers key cabinet (my father was a car dealer) it includes the brand names of autos in a vintage manner and little tags with the nipples that have personal and emotional thoughts. The solar photograph is a darkroom piece that is an extension of thinking about and working on a Madonna sculpture with a bronze nipple quilt.
