I aim to achieve spatial depth using flattened and three-dimensionl geometric forms to create an abstract composition. The predominate form is the circle since it signifies universal wholeness. The multiple forms refer to the microcosm of organic material in the world, the self, cells, molecules, and nets all existing in a trapped space.

I believe the gesture of the circle is the truest form that translates from mind to body in the hand gesture. I am attempting to access certain states of mind through the use of repetition. The color choices are based on basic color theory; I am both deliberate and intuitive in creating the works.
