My art allows me to speak to the world through a lens that I find only accessible through art. Every creation is a re-connection with self and my thoughts, feelings, and ideas become clearer. With each piece, I hope viewers are inspired to create something of their own and experience this type of expression and connection with self. Capitalism suppresses so much of us and art is one of very few outlets that allows us to reconnect with ourselves and the parts of ourselves that have been silenced. I see creation as both an act of resistance and a transcendence.
