Compositionally, these images are representative of the barriers, connections & roles of children and are direct references to my childhood. I always felt that I was the observer, the watcher and aware of my surroundings. My single mother raised me and that relationship was the main influence on my life as I was growing up. My aunt once told me, “I don’t think that I ever saw you leave your mom’s side when you were young.”
