This work is part of a collection that takes me further into the world of mixed media. Using beautiful papers and exploring alternative techniques with paint, I create layered backgrounds on which to rest my subjects. I continue to use a representational style to create an image, but with an ethereal or ghostlike quality and eye toward an emotive response.
