A shadowy lineup of girls in white dresses. A suggestion of rich fabrics against a white fabric background. In this painting, I was captured by the image of tradition, formality, seriousness, repetition, and the one girl lost in her own word. It’s a painting about the imperfections found in every ‘perfect’ moment, and the beauty that reality brings to the occasion.
