Dear Earth,

I know you are angry, and you are understandably upset that we humans are spoiling your awesome creation. The current violent storms of climate change couldn’t be more of a clear warning of your unhappiness. We have had you at our disposal for millennia. In the past you have sustained us with your bounty and inspired us to be respectful of your power and your beauty. The time has clearly come to renew our commitment to protect your creation and to partake of your abundance with restraint. I have created a series of paintings that I hope will inspire and entice the viewer and at the same time provide a message of urgency relating to the consequences of the changing climate brought on by human excess.
