I select, I plan, I form, I build, I fashion, I arrange, I assemble, I make, I create. As a fiber sculptor, first and foremost, I am a materialist. I touch, I see, I feel, I smell. I explore the flexibility of material to extract its highest resiliency, its potential for dimensionality and its surface possibilities.

These selected works bring together uncommon materials that consider loss of life, both human and plant based. They communicate a sense of loss and pain and yet the most common response is a desire to reach out and touch, to hold onto life, to bring it back.
